I have been a friend (and co-worker) of Ron's for more than 30 years. I found out today of Irene's passing. While I never had the pleasure of meeting her, I heard many family stories from Ron over the years. She had to be quite a Mom to have raised such a fine son.
Please know that my wife and I have your family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I've been a friend of Randy's for about 20 years. We worked together in Everett for a number of years. I had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Conlin a few times while Randy and I were working together. She was so sweet! I truely enjoyed visiting with her while she was there. I also over the years got to hear some great stories about Mrs. Conlin from Randy. I believe she was one of a kind. One quick story I have to share is when she was living just up the street from the office we worked in. The fire station had a call. The fire trucks went blasting by her place with lights and sirens blazing. The trucks were headed in our direction and Mrs Conlin called to make sure the fire wasn't at our store and to make sure everything was o.k. I thought that was the greatest! : ) We had a good chuckle out of that, but that's what great mom's do!
All my thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family and friends of Mrs. Conlin and deepest sympathies from the bottom of my heart.

I had the pleasure of meeting Irene over 10 years ago when she was living in her holiday trailer, I think out or by Lake Stevens. Over the past 10 years I was not able to see her again as I live in the "Great White North" in Benalto, Alberta Canada. Through this past 10 years though I was able to have recent updates talking to my wonderful, dear friend Veronica. We knew the time was coming but from my own experience it seems nothing can really prepare us. I said nightly prayers for Irene, my adopted Sister Veronica and all the rest of your family. Although Irene may not have been able to express her feelings at the end I am certain she knew of the wonderful care, love and loyalty all of you were showing her. May you find strength and healing now. May it comfort you to know that as long as you are alive your precious Mom (and Grandma) will live on in your memories of her. When the time comes I believe that you will all be joined back together again where there is no sadness, sickness or pain. This coming Saturday, February 26th, at 1:00 my thoughts and prayers especially will be coming to you across the miles. God bless you all!

Veronica was taking her mother into the clubhouse where a birthday celebration awaited for Veronica's mother. I happened to be near the clubhouse at the time and had the honor and pleasure of meeting her mother. Isabella looked beautiful, and was aglow with the celebrations about to begin on her behalf. I am Veronica's close friend and prayed for her mother, and for Veronica and all of her family. I am fully aware of the love and tenderness that Veronica and all of you have bestowed upon your mother. If love could bring your mother back, she'd be right back with you instead of now simply in your hearts but that would not be fair for Isabella. She is now pain free, in the arms of our Lord and Savior, and joyous once again being with her family members having gone before her. May God in His mercy give you strength to get through this difficult time. If your mother was anything like Veronica then your mother has left you with a wonderful legacy ... love, concern, and tenderness for each other, and for others, and to that I say Amen.
Veronica, Vicki & and Ron if you are the same Conlin’s I knew in New Orleans, I’m very sorry about the passing of your mom. She was a truly A wonderful lady. If you not them then I’m still sorry for your loss.

I'm a new friend of Veronica's, and I'm so sorry to hear of her mom's passing; I know how absolutely she was devoted to her. This page is a wonderful way to see photos of her and read about her from family & friends. Thank you and may you all rest easy now and think of good times past.
I got to know Irene through her son Ron. I first met her in the late 1980's when I was involved in starting a program called Seattle-King County Crime Stoppers. She was such a positive lady who always had encouraging things to say and she loved Cops. She was fun, brilliant and loved life. She was always so positive and loved hearing my police stories, etc. She never had anything negative to say and in fact I don't ever recall her saying anything bad about anyone. She had such a "Angel" like attitude and it was very obvious to me that everyone in her family thought nothing but the best about her. She will be missed by her family and friends but the biggest loss is her positive influence on everyone she ever met and that includes me and my family. Rest in Peace Irene.... it is well deserved! Heaven is richer today!
